Change Your Life When You Stop Complaining.
Complaining is a low vibrational energy and like all energy is contagious. When you complain, you take away your power, and the cycle must perpetuate. You have to keep on complaining! When you complain you allow yourself to get off easy, you don’t have to do anything, or take any action. What if instead of complaining you did something! You always have a choice. Allow yourself to zoom out and see things from a wider lens. Your options are; you either accept the situation, change it, or leave it. Pick one of the three and break out of the cycle of complaining!
STRENGTHEN THIS ACTION ORIENTED MUSCLE.
Just like a muscle in your arm, you need to challenge your mind and consciously choose not to complain. You must make the decision to accept it, change it or leave it! I challenge you to not complain, in your head or out loud for the next seven days! This simple yet challenging practice will change your life. Take time to prepare and identify situations or people you might be tempted to complain around.
HOW TO MANAGE BEING AROUND COMPLAINERS.
Take a deep breath and visualize a barrier between you and them. See a protective bubble around you that makes their low frequency energy unable to pass through. If you feel courageous, you can respond to their complaints with, “I hear you are upset in your current situation.” or, “What can you do to feel empowered?” and “What is your action step?” They may just be looking for you to share their misery, and want you to complain too. You can say, “I hear you are upset. I am doing a seven day no complaining challenge, so I cannot add to the conversation.” If there are people in your life that are complainers share with them your concerns with them about their energy. Let them know you are not available to listen to complaining anymore. If they don’t respect your boundary, then it is up to you to enforce it.
BUILD A COMMUNITY.
Surround yourself with individuals who have taken full responsibility for their life- you will notice they donʼt complain. Let them know that you admire this quality about them. Ask them how they strengthened their action oriented muscle. Share with safe people in your life, that you are doing a seven day no complaining challenge. Ask them to hold you accountable. Read books, listen to audio that reinforces this message and keeps you in the flow of taking action and staying in your power.
TRY BRAGGING INSTEAD.
Often complaining is a way to get connection. Instead of connecting on a low level connect by bragging about your wins. It will feel 1000x better. Start first and see who is brave enough to follow. Overtime this will be a new habit and a new way to connect with friends and family.
